Brand world? & The Net commerce?

This day of age we know only to well, each high street or eccomerce appears to be the same big brands and corporations holding the monopoly.

Of course the world of commerce has wonderful pros and cost cutting benefits, in comparison to bricks and mortar, yet does it appear by design more for the giants to still hold the monopoly?, or do the indipendents get, optimisation , opportunities at fair costs?

Is this just another form of the "Thought Police" as George Orwell 1984 stated, more control and data of peoples buying, spending, selling?

If one takes the example, of the flip side of the web, which in actual fact is the biggest percentage of the web, Deep, Dark web, where less , to no government control and revenue is taken , then apart from illegal activity's, why is that side not been pushed in the public domain more ? Is it just for the benefits of the government eyes and stats?

We can't blame the Starbucks and similar, as it's business, it's the government putting these cheating methods in place which can only allude to, the government benefiting from such vast sums been escaped.

Yet, is this a fair regulated market?

Independents are been forced to amalagamat, ie join together to compete with the giants buying power, mass international and national marketing and advertising campaigns.

The giants are swallowing up all corners of industry which they can, keeping all aspects of revenue for themselves, giving the impression of, "how convenient we will not only give you a mourgage, but we will deal with your home insurance, wills, probate, legal, utilities, telecommunications so on.

Or Uber will taxi you home, takeaway food, even home food shopping.

Amazon, from books to a one commerce platform for everything, with fairness they do offer independent businesses to utalise their platforms as resellers, how fair and comparative to solely trading it is I don't have the experience to state either way.

There can be two ways of looking at the Amazon global brand, 1.
